Here are all 4 old ones, they really arent too shabby, will probably be ok for spares. Make sure all the wiring plugs are snapped back into place, here you can see the new glow plugs just shining away between the wires and the cylinder head. I have a motor home based on a Ducato 2.5TDi from 1997. Driving it today the glow plug light on the dash board started turning on and off and I can hear the glow plug timer ticking. The temperature outside was about 20C/68F and the enging was warm when this started so I need some help finding out what causes this problem.

if you use easy start, the engine does not require it after just one squirt or so. you have to use it quite a bit for the engine to get "hungry" for it. most engines will not start from cold[the colder the worse it is] due to either poor compression, inactive glow plugs, or pump worn or mis-timed. bump starting will fill the cat with neat fuel

After trying a few times, the glow plug light stopped coming on at all and now van won't turn over at all. The RAC have been out to the van and plugged in a power pack and van didn't start (still no glow plug light on dash even when ignition turned on). Tested starter and there is no power going from battery to starter when ignition turned.
