If there’s one doubt I have had, it’s that I might have chosen the wrong model of the KTM 1290 Super Adventure. The S being the more on-road oriented bike, it has electronic suspension, alloy rims and a 19″ front wheel in stead of the R with its spoked rims and 21″ front. The S steers a bit faster due to the smaller wheel.

Rally seat height was much better but too skinny causing less leg/knee pain but more butt pain. The SC Tall combines the best of both. Wide and flat like the stock R seat but tall like the rally. I’ve had hit or miss luck with SC but always good luck with their more off road-focused flat seats.
Since we use those bikes for 4000+ mile tours with hours in the saddle, we eventually sold the Corbins and went with the KTM "comfort" seats, which are very rideable for long days but add about 3/4" height. The tall adventures are only awkward in stop and go traffic and parking lot manuvering, and we spend 99% of our time on the open roads. HNTsDj.
